LIVE OAK KIDS

Growing in Faith, Friendship, and Fun—Together!

Nest

Volunteers care for babies and toddlers while engaging the children in play. For preschoolers, we use curriculum from The Gospel Project. The Nest includes free play, and a Bible lesson with learning activities.

Treehouse

Children watch a teaching video from The Gospel Project, then spend time in small groups reflecting on what they learned, discussing how to use this during the week, and praying for each other. They may play games or do a craft.

First Time? Here’s What to Expect…

The safety, security, and well-being of your children are our top priorities. Every volunteer in our kids' ministry undergoes a thorough background check and is carefully vetted through a comprehensive application, reference, and training process. We are committed to creating a secure and nurturing environment where your children can grow and thrive.

1. Arrival: When you arrive at our church, you’ll find our Welcome Desk right at the entrance.

2. Check-In: A friendly Kids Ministry volunteer will assist you with the check-in process and help you complete your family information form.

3. Name and Security Tags: You’ll receive a name tag for your child and a parent/guardian security tag. Please keep this tag safe—it’s essential for a secure pickup.

4. Classroom Escort for Younger Children: For children younger than 1st grade, a volunteer will escort them to their classroom. You’re welcome to walk with them if you’d like!

5. Older Children: Children in 1st grade and older will stay in the service until after the third worship song. Their teacher will then escort them to their classroom.

6. Pickup: After the service, return your security tag to the teacher to complete our secure pickup process.
