vision Series | Discipleship vision
Proverbs 29:18 says, "Without vision we stumble all over ourselves, but when we attend to what God has revealed, we are blessed." God has given us a clear vision and all the resources we need to follow Jesus and experience a blessed relationship with Him, marked by a deep connection to His presence, a steady and growing faith, and transformation into Christlike character through a lifelong partnership with God.
The vision is to follow Jesus and practice His way of life. Even though the vision is simple, it can still be overwhelming to know where to begin. This is where discipleship helps.
Discipleship provides a support structure- worshipping together, worshipping alone, breaking bread, serving others, giving generously and sharing Jesus. These are practices that we never outgrow, but after much practice, we can confidently say we are following Jesus and His way of life!
